We may not be responsible for the world that created our minds, but we can take responsibi

I grew up, a small-town girl, excited to leave South Africa straight after school to start my journey of becoming a world  travelling adventurer, scuba diving fanatic, fur-baby mom, aunty, friend, yoga teacher and most importantly, a free-thinking independent woman, fiercely protective of FREEDOM.

I worked in corporate roles locally and internationally for over 15 years and the best part was always getting to know people and understanding the motivating factors behind performance and behaviour. Having lived and worked with people from various cultures in different countries all over the world, I’ve gained valuable, unique experience which has truly enriched my own life and opened my eyes to the many realities that surround us. This sent me on a mission for TRUTH.

For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with human nature and the complexities of mind, body, energy & behaviour  connections. Sexology was a natural choice of study for me as I have a tendency to choose roads less travelled and the scientific study of human sexuality still remains relatively shrouded in mystery and taboo. Thankfully, this is changing and  through scientific research, great strides have been made towards creating awareness and education on the important role that sexuality plays in all lives.

I completed my Bachelor of Science at the International Academy of Sexology founded by renowned Sexologist, Professor Johann Lemmer and as a member of the South African Council for Sexual Health Professions and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health I am guided by a professional Code of Ethics, demanding a high standard of practice which I am proud to be a part of.

Human Sexuality is the source of both immense joy and pleasure, and of desperate pain and tragedy – the yin and yang of life.  It is an integral part of who we are as humans; it is connected to all parts of life – biologically, psychologically, socially, culturally; it is intertwined with history, law, economics, politics, religion and spirituality and it effects and is affected by us as individuals, and all our own unique upbringings, beliefs and environments.

My approach to counselling is integrative, wholistic, open, honest, genuine, non-judgemental and welcoming of all – no matter your colour, creed, kink, lifestyle, sexual orientation, experience, gender identification or any other definition. You are always encouraged to come as you are!

True healing is a process achieved through commitment, consistency and care; sometimes it’s a really hard road, but I assure you that the greatest success in life, is to truly understand what it means to LIVE. To bring that which lurks in the shadows, into the light, to face fear, to conquer it, to heal, and to THRIVE. And to know, that you have purpose on this wonderful planet.

I place great value on the power of breathwork, movement and art; all of which form part of the focus of my work. My practice is a safe, peaceful space to learn, explore and connect with one’s Self & the Other, and perhaps adventure outside the comfort zone - a magical place to be.

I am supported by my wonderful (patient) husband, a crazy beautiful family, a community of like-minded colleagues and a strong belief in goodness and faith in humanity.
